'7 Things'

This post is inspired by the very lovely Louise from 'Sprinkle of Glitter' You can find her blog here. You should also check out her YouTube videos, she has two; Sprinkle of Glitter, which is her main channel and Sprinkle of Chatter, which is her chatty channel as she calls it.

I havent been feeling very inspired lately as I have been very poorly hence the lack of blog posts. I thought '7 things' would be a great idea for a post to get me going again (ooo-er).

7 things for 7 days

1) Write more; My blog. I'd like to try and post on my blog everyday and each monday I plan to write a post on anxiety. Writing my blog makes me feel a little bit more motivated and helps to settle my wondering mind.

2) Prepare; For Christmas. Yes, like Louise I NEED to start preparing for Christmas because if you think about it, its not many pay days away (eeeeeek!). This year I'd like to get all organised and watch everyone else panic whilst I sit back and enjoy my favourite time of year. (Its the most wonderful tiiimmee of the year, dum dum dum dum)

3) Go out more; After being poorly for a very loooonnnnng time and only just getting back on my feet, I think it would be nice to catch up with old friends and go on a few luch dates.

4) Take more; Pictures! I dont think you can ever take enough pictures and because its the start of A/W and Christmas is around the corner, its the perfect time of year where you catch up with family and friends and have plenty of oppurtunity to capture some special moments.

5) Start making; YouTube videos!!!!!! EEEEEK. I've been wanting to make them for a while now but just havent found the confidence yet but, it is definitely top of my list of things to do. Now that im starting to feel better I'm just going to take the bull by the horns and give it a go. AHHHH.

6) Experiment more; Make up. Its safe to say that I'm a bit of a plain Jane when it comes to make up. I like a good old neutral eye and a nude pink lip. I have just ordered myself a pro 120 eyeshadow pallete from eBay so I can have a bit of a play, you can buy one here. I'd also like to be more daring with lip colour but one thing at a time, ey?

7) Save more; Money. When I have money it always burns a hole in my pocket and I spend it straight away and go without any for a while. I'd like to save more so that on those 'rainy days' I can enjoy spending some dollar.

Thats it. I hope you have enjoyed reading this post as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

Hello there..

Hello there, im new to all this blogging malarky so youll have to bare with me :) i thought id do an introduction as my first post cause erm erm its just what you do i suppose. Although, i figured that this was hard without sounding big headed or dating profilesque (oooh i say) but anyway, i will give it a damn good go!

My names Melissa and im seeking a male friend (im joking, im joking).... Lets start again shall we.

My name is Melissa (yes, really) and im from Leicester and thats in the east midlands for those of you who don't know where it is. Im a 19 year old female who is passionate about her family and many other 'things' but yes, i love my family very much. Oh christ, im stuck already. I have no idea what else to say! What else do you want to know?

I thought id give blogging a go because im always reading them. My particular favourites are Louise (Sprinkle of Glitter) and Zoe (Zoella). They also make YouTube videos which I LOVE to watch because they make me howl with laughter and always brighten up my day. I am a sufferer of anxiety, like Zoe and i thought splurging all my thoughts and such on a page on t'internet would help as reading others do.

I plan to blog about just life in general really and some things that i enjoy such as; beauty, fashion, cooking, baking etc. I dont claim to be a make-up artist, fashionista nor a chef. These are just things i enjoy and want to share with you.

Anyways, im sure youll find out more about me along the way :)

Cheerio xx
